Victorycoon's is a little maine coon cattery ANFI-FIFe registered. It is 25 km far from Siena, in the Montagnola Senese not far from the village of Chiusdino and from St. Galgano Abbey, where you can find the famous “sword in the rock”.

Our family consist of three humans (Claudio, Nicoletta and Maria Vittoria) and a not defined numbers of “pelosotti” ( we could translate “hairy balls”). Our story with coonies started in the far 1992. We were a young couple without children, we saw in a magazine some maine coon's pictures and we loved them immediately. Maine Coon eyes have a kind of magnetism that I don't manage to explain…..So we contacted a lot of breeders and finally we bought our first coonies from Fiore Selvaggio cattery the cattery of our dear friend Irma Porati. They were Sally (a young tortie female) and our unforgettable and irreplaceable Soryn ( a red/withe male), who gave us the biggest show satisfaction you could desire but above all he gave us a boundless love, like that only a child can give you. In 1997 we had an human daughter, Maria Vittoria (from here the cattery name Victorycoon's alias the coonies of Victoria ), but she had big healths problems and she had to be followed very well form us. So we had to give up our dream of breeding for many years (we have also another work to do, coonies were only our “hobby”, like now) because we could not follow a lot of coonies as well as we want. So we remained with our two first connies (now they are in the “coonies' Heaven) and we thought only to our daughter's health.
But in 2006 Maria Vittoria asked us a gift for birthday…..She wanted a little cat, but she said that it should be “like those you had when I was a baby, a Maine Coon”.
So we called our dearest friend Lilia Golfarelli of Lillycoons cattery and we bought Melissa, a brown tabby female…. But coonies are like cherries, one always follow the other, and soon humans became the minority at home and we could start again with our “coon dream”. So, pressed by our daughter we became a FIFe registered cattery in 2007.
